Something has changed within me: redefining what’s possible

This weekend, we had the absolute joy of watching the Wicked movie on the big screen. Sitting in the theatre, we found ourselves transported - not just into Elphaba and Glinda’s world, but into our own memories, filled with laughter, connection, and a deep love for a story that holds a special place in our hearts.

We first saw the stage production together in London, a magical experience that marked the beginning of our shared admiration for its powerful themes of courage, friendship, and self-acceptance. Later, when Prue was living in London, Kim would often listen to the soundtrack during her morning drives to work. On particularly meaningful days, she’d send Prue recordings of her favorite songs, creating a long-distance bond rooted in music and mutual encouragement.

As we watched the movie, it was impossible not to draw connections between the story of Wicked and what we’re building here at The Main Act. Much like Elphaba and Glinda, we believe in embracing what makes us unique, taking bold leaps, and lifting each other up along the way.

At its core, Wicked is is about courage. It's about recognizing how important it is to step out of the shadows and into your power, even when the world doesn’t understand your choices. It’s about the beauty of connection—finding people who see you, celebrate you, and challenge you to soar higher.

These are the same principles that inspire The Main Act.
